DISCOVERING DURBAR PHOTO EXHIBITION

The "Discovering Durbar Photo Exhibition" is the flagship cultural initiative of Arewa Adventures.

Produced in partnership with the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), it is an attempt to capture the splendour and significance of Northern Nigeria’s equestrian culture and traditions through powerful photography and digital storytelling, beginning with the iconic Dutse Durbar in Jigawa State.

Discovering Durbar is both a cultural preservation effort and a tourism activation strategy, presenting the North’s unique identity to the world, as part of the broader Arewa Adventures tourism program under TruNorth, this initiative positions Northern Nigeria as a destination of beauty, tradition, and opportunity, inviting both discovery and investment.

The Discovering Durbar Photo Exhibition will be preceded by the Northern Nigeria Security for Tourism Summit, along with the official launch of the Northern Nigeria Tourism and Creative Economy Business Group.

THE NORTHERN NIGERIA TOURISM FOR SECURITY SUMMIT
This summit will gather security agencies, traditional leaders, tourism operators, and community stakeholders to develop actionable strategies for securing tourist routes, destinations, and cultural events across the North. Discussions will focus on collaboration between local communities and security institutions to create safer travel experiences and restore confidence for domestic and international visitors.
